Pain Is Needed To Shine

 

Coal buried under soil,

Never knows its value,

Its higher existence,

When burns and ignites,

It becomes priceless,

Shines like diamond.

 

Our soul is buried

In the glittering body,

Losing its existence,

Immense pain and scars,

Melt impurities to shine,

As a star in infinite sky.

 

Pure soul embodies godliness,

Spread mellifluous fragrance,

Sings the songs of love and peace,

Spread peace and harmony,

As an eternal being on Earth,

In favour of divinity and purity.

Suicide Is Not An Option

 

Sometimes life get too much distressed,

But choosing rope is not an option,

Instead beating challenges and hurdles,

With full enthusiasm, hope and faith,

Is fruitful and better option to move forward.

 

Life is nothing but a learning process,

We learn a lot from pain and melancholy,

Get better version of ourselves while struggling,

Move one step ahead towards truth of life,

Cherishing our true self ambrosially and ethereally.

 

Pain and scars reveal truth of universe,

Revive our frozen soul melting away impurities,

Reveal our true existence spellbindingly,

Brings us closer to purity and divinity,

Unveiling the true purpose and essence of life.

Life Is Our Own Reflection

 

Life is our own reflection,

Whatever we are at our core of heart,

We perceive the world in that way.

 

Our destiny is our own creation,

Consciously or unconsciously,

Manipulation of our own thoughts.

 

Whatever we want and desire,

Immensely and ardently for long,

That’s come today or tomorrow.

 

Universe reflects us what we want,

We are responsible for the destiny,

What is in front of us or will come.

 

Learning from past pains and mistakes,

Implementing lessons in present wisely,

Create the astounding destiny magically.

ASHA ROY alias Asha Kumari born in a village of Samastipur District, Bihar, India. She is post-graduate in Environment Science from Sikkim and Manipal University, India. She is hard working, self-sufficient, rebellious by nature for justice, and always stands for humanity. She has been working as a Copy Editor with an esteemed firm Aptara Corporation, New Delhi, India, since 2008. She has been acknowledged and praised by many clients for her editorial works. She is a passionate reader, writer, essayist, editor, and bilingual poet. She took poetry as her passion to better express her ideas, her thoughts, her visions, and her point of view according to her conscience. Her poems have been published in different newspapers,  archives,  websites,  and journals.
