Liberty

 

Total freedom is right of all living beings,

Whether living in air, in water, or on land,

Freedom gives a person total independence,

To fall, to learn from mistake, and to grow.

 

Liberty is the freedom of individual,

To grow without external hinderance,

Owning mistakes and sins fearlessly,

To grow forwards without dreading out. 

 

Liberty is a gift not bestowed by other men,

But it is unalienable rights belongs to us,

Endowed by God and Laws of Nature,

To enjoy life and grow all-together freely.

 

We should never give up essential liberty,

For temporary safety or benefits,

It will always lead us towards darkness,

Creating tremendous pains and melancholy.

I Am Me: A Complete Being

 

I was looking for my life outside,

Mistakenly and unknowingly,

Never find life even in palace,

Crowded by all near and dear ones.

 

One day, divine zephyr touched me,

Defrosted and unveiled my true existence,

Healed indelible blemishes and scars,

Revived the rhythm of my soul magically.

 

Now I am me, a complete being,

Life begets inside me ambrosially,

I enjoy every minutes ethereally,

Adorned with mellifluous divine hues.

I Am The World’s Elixir

 

Any self-conscious person,

Who has found his true existence,

Is in pure and pious soul form,

Is actually the elixir of the world.

 

Being awaken and self-conscious,

I am the elixir of the world,

Full of divine love and light,

To spread its mellow all-around.

 

I am the messengers of God,

To spread equality on Earth,

To awaken the impoverish,

To nurture all beings ambrosially.

 

I am inspiration, motivation,

For the weak and destitute,

To embellish them ethereally,

In the favour of divinity.

 

I am here to spread hymns of God, 

To establish true essence of humanity,

To flourish truth, justice, equality, peace,

Adorned with compassion and generosity.

ASHA ROY alias Asha Kumari born in a village of Samastipur District, Bihar, India. She is post-graduate in Environment Science from Sikkim and Manipal University, India. She is hard working, self-sufficient, rebellious by nature for justice, and always stands for humanity. She has been working as a Copy Editor with an esteemed firm Aptara Corporation, New Delhi, India, since 2008. She has been acknowledged and praised by many clients for her editorial works. She is a passionate reader, writer, and bilingual poet by hobby. She took poetry as her passion to better express her ideas, her thoughts, her visions, and her point of view according to her conscience. Her poems have been published in different Newspapers, Anthologies, Archive websites and Journal (Our Poetry Archive: An Online Journal). She is bilingual. Many of her poems have been published in Hindi anthologies (Mere Jajbaat, Bebak Parinda, Safar Shikhar Tak, Stree, Abhivyakti: A bond of Navodians, and many upcoming books in preparation) and in Hindi Newspaper. She is interested in human welfare. She is passionate to reach people on globe through her writing and poems.
