I will breathe in your breath,

I will embrace your gaze, and I will again

respond with emotion.

Except that today will be different.

I will not bring you in my arms,

I will not ask - do you remember?

And I will cry from helplessness,

every trace left

will remind.

Without joy, I will try

to delight in the moment

that you will allow me to experience.

Letter To Grandpa

Maybe you are smiling from above,

that I have been missing you since I understood.

For your word, wisdom, hug,

voice and singing, humble prayer.

They have preserved you for me,

love and kindness, which quickly faded.

A trace on your wedding photo,

a serene face, laughing eyes.

So I am writing a letter so that you know about me

and when I go to our meeting,

receive me, grandpa, because you did not make it here,

with grandma, mommy, those I miss.

JADWIGA BUJAK-PISAREK: Born on May 22, 1957 in Świebodzice. Editor-in-Chief of the E-Literaci.pl Literary Journal. Winner of many poetry competitions. Honored by the E-Literaci Journal Editors with six statuettes for her entire literary activity and many years of cooperation. Member of the "Witrynar" Literary Association in Stalowa Wola. Member of the "Kwadrat" International Literary and Artistic Group in Krakow. Member of the Association of Polish Authors in Warsaw. She has published 4 volumes of poetry: She is the co-author of six literary notebooks. seventeen Anthologies, including one religious, four international. Her poems have been translated into English and German. are published in the international monthly magazine "OUR POETRY ARCHIVE ONLINE MONTHLY POETRY JOURNAL". For 14 years she has been publishing on the E-Literaci.pl portal and on the Internet, where she has gained a large group of regular readers. Participant of literary workshop festivals and poetry meetings. Founder of the Unaffiliated. Group of Poets "Saffo" at GBP in Zebrzydowice with which she published the Anthology "Stronges from Piotrówki" as Editor. She has also published two volumes of poems. Her poetry is regularly published in the information bulletin "Wiadomości znad Piotrówki" of the Zebrzydowice commune.
