In life the roads we travel on may vary,
Some wind, some cross, some one-way.
This travel demands consistently
Good focus and right choices each day.
We take the steps, no one does it but us.
Each walk is a sure movement of our will.
There must be no blame that we can pass
On to others, or to God, however right we feel.
As with all other roads there are road blocks,
There may be boulders before us that hinder-
We can choose to just curse it or turn back,
Take a detour, learn from it, become better.
Life's a daily walk, not on smooth pavement.
The roads we walk on are rough and craggy
That test our will in each predicament
But it's up to us to keep walking on bravely.
