Come any other day
towards evening
with a rose in your hand
and your modesty,
and I wonder
why I don't know you
you are dissipated thread in the
mind crossroads at the edge
of the forest.
I speak to you of my time
known
that of the present
the canvas is unravelled
and in your eyes
a tear is an expectation
and tastes of the salt
that you have not tasted.
You hand me the cup
and encourage me
of my child
the name you want to hear
and I whisper to you an old
lullaby
among fairy tales slipped from my mind.
With you I lose myself
but I do not know you
you call me mother
and I look at you uncertainly,
your caress
the sun gives me
that dies when
you get up, you call me
and you go away!

ALZHEIMER
Tu vieni ogni altro giorno
verso sera
con una rosa in mano
e il tuo pudore,
e io mi chiedo
perché non ti conosco
sei filo dissipato nella
mente crocevia al limite
del bosco.
Ti parlo del mio tempo
conosciuto
che del presente
la tela s’è scucita
e nei tuoi occhi
una lacrima è un attesa
e sa del sale
che non hai provato.
Mi porgi la tazza
e mi incoraggi
del mio bambino
il nome vuoi sentire
e ti sussurro una vecchia
ninna nanna
tra favole sfilate dalla mente.
Con te mi perdo
ma non ti conosco,
mi chiami mamma
ed io ti guardo incerta,
la tua carezza
il sole mi regala
che muore quando
ti alzi,mi chiami
e te ne vai!

The Skies Fall
Not a shout not a groan
on the heights of Jerusalem
Only crystal tears stare
the barred eyes of dolls
broken, toys left to
soothe the bite of the sand!
And the skies fall on dawns
stolen from life...
while I navigate in waters
quiet, muffled waters,
my eyes are walls and
walls have no heart,
I pay a coffee to swallow
sweetened gall for me
who treads the pavements
of the obvious and I wander on clouds
that do not taste of bread,
are withered steel flowers
on clods of a scattered humanity
Tomorrow the trees will eat
their own fruits, and it will be a storm!

Cadono i cieli.
Non un urlo non un gemito
sulle alture di Gerusalemme
solo lacrime di cristallo fissano
gli occhi sbarrati di bambole
spezzate, giochi lasciati a
lenire il morso della sabbia!
E cadono i cieli su albe
rubate alla vita…
mentre io navigo in acque
tranquille, ovattate,
i miei occhi sono muri e i
muri non hanno cuore,
pago un caffè per ingoiare
fiele addolcito per me
che batto i marciapiedi
dell’ovvio e vago su nuvole
che non sanno di pane,
sono fiori d’acciaio appassiti
su zolle di un’umanita’dispersa
Domani gli alberi mangeranno
i propri frutti, e sarà tempesta!

I Love Autumn
I love autumn
As the broom the wind,
And I let its moons
draw minarets
On the windowsills of vegetable gardens
still sleepy,
I love the rumble of the leaves,
their lax trailing
On the avenues of time
Like the burning quiver
Of an old lover,
I love the silent breeze
that escapes on the breasts
Of the mountains
And shakes the refusals of dawn
In the glow of dawn
I love the autumn
when it is sprinkled with the perfume
sour of the vats
And dyes with red
the last glimmers of the sun
That trace the emptiness
To lose of life!

Amo l’autunno
Amo l’autunno
come la ginestra il vento,
e lascio che le sue lune
disegnino minareti
sui davanzali degli orti
ancora assonnati,
amo il vociar delle foglie,
il loro strascicare lasso
sui viali del tempo
come il fremito arso
di un vecchio amante,
amo la brezza silente
che fugge sui seni
dei monti
e scuote i refusi dell’alba
al chiaror dell’aurora
Amo l’autunno
quando s’irrora del profumo
asprigno dei tini
e tinge di rosso
gli ultimi bagliori del sole
che tracciano il vuoto
a perdere della vita!
