Love Always Wins

The mother in her own way imagines,

sometimes plans a future for her daughter

thinks she is giving the best to her little girl

even chooses the man for the family.

She hinders her and treats her like a pawn

imposes it and does not advise her

the one who walks beside her

gives her his arm or takes her by the hand.

True freedom chooses who to give her heart to

that already obeys the divine plan

mixes the art that paints life

with the reality that is an expression of love

that conceives and gives her child

what a scent of Viola of infinite happiness.

L'amore vince sempre

La mamma a modo suo immagina,

talvolta progetta un futuro per la figlia 

pensa di dare il meglio alla sua bambina 

addirittura sceglie l'uomo per la famiglia.

La ostacola e la tratta come una pedina 

glielo impone e non le consiglia 

colui che accanto a lei cammina 

le dona il braccio o per mano la piglia.

La vera libertà sceglie a chi dare il cuore 

che già obbedisce a disegno divino 

mescola l'arte che dipinge la vita 

alla realtà che è espressione d'amore 

che concepisce e dona il suo bambino 

che profumo di Viola di felicità infinita.

In You, Time

In the depths of your thoughts

you were already drawing the project of a new life

time has passed even if it seems like yesterday

for your first lily you were leafing through a daisy.

every day infinite care and attention

safe guidance opening up new paths

in unparalleled respect growth.

In you mommy time is present

nothing passes of your teachings

that preciously accompany me

I name you and understand that the choices guide

all the details experienced that do not pass.

In te il tempo

Dentro il profondo dei tuoi pensieri 

già tracciavi il progetto di nuova vita 

è passato il tempo anche se sembra ieri 

per tuo primo giglio sfogliavi margherita.

Entrambi genitori poi eravate fieri 

ogni giorno cura e attenzione infinita 

guida sicura aprendo a nuovi sentieri 

nel rispetto ineguagliabile crescita.

In te mamma il tempo è presente 

nulla passa dei tuoi insegnamenti 

che preziosi mi accompagnano 

non farò mai sentire che sei assente 

ti nomino e capisco che le scelte orienti 

tutti i dettagli vissuti che non passano.

Living Together

From the day I discovered the existence

of something foreign in the body

time has taken on a new consistency

and the mind has entered a torpid state.

After a short while, a full burst of energy

that forced me to react

all the positivity was necessary

I could not allow myself to die

in the gaze, the eyes were smiling

in an exemplary calm and patience

I changed position, thinking about living

I built moments of joy in new events

giving priority to what is to love

I understand that we must live together.

Convivere.

Dal giorno che ho scoperto l'esistenza 

di qualcosa di estraneo nel corpo 

il tempo ha preso nuova consistenza 

e la mente è entrata in uno stato torpo.

Dopo poco ad uopo un pieno di energia 

che mi ha indotta con forza a reagire 

tutta la positività è stata necessaria 

non potevo permettermi di morire 

nello sguardo, gli occhi erano sorridenti 

in una calma e pazienza esemplare 

ho cambiato posizione, pensare a vivere 

costruivo attimi di gioia negli eventi 

novelli dando priorità a ciò che è d'amare 

comprendo che dobbiamo convivere.

ELISA MASCIA: Born in Santa Croce di Magliano (Cb), on 13/04/1956, she lives and works in San Giuliano di Puglia (Cb).  She is a retired teacher.  She is a writer, poet, declaimer, radio host, reviewer, sworn in poetry competitions, cultural promoter. Writing is a real need in life and is inspired by whatever or event surrounds it. She has participated in many national and international poetry competitions, obtaining prizes, certificates of participation, merits and honorable mentions.  You receive invitations to participate in multiple international and world events, commemorative and thematic events.- In July 2019 the first collection of poems was published in the Silloge entitled "La Grattugia della Luna" with "L’ inedito Letterario ".- She participated in 10 editions of the Histonium Prize and in 2019 with the Silloge of 10 unpublished poems inspired by 10 paintings by the great artist and poet Erminio Girardo who held the role of teacher for her, marking a decisive turning point in the activity of poetess-writer .- You have translated some poems by the poet NilavroNill Shoovro and included in the annual anthologies and monthly archive of world poets edited by the same poet-publisher.  The book of poems "Savage Wind" published by "L’Inedito" by poet Asoke Kumar Mitra was translated and edited in September 2019.- Since February 2020 she is a collaborator in Radio Krysol Internazionale directed by Manuel Antonio Rodriguez Retamal in the program Maktub Azur palabras de amor y vida and co-host with Mariela Porras Santana in the program En Alas del Fénix.  Present on the youtu.be channel with video declamation of your own poems and of other authors in Italian and Spanish languages. - Since February 2021 she has been the creator, organizer and presenter of the Sentieri di vita program broadcast on Radio Krysol Internazionale. - She donor of voice within the projects: A voice of the dark-Theater in the dark-by Pietro La Barbera. - Since February 2020 she is a member and founder of WikiPoesia.- She is Academic, Coordinator and Administrator of Italy in the Luso-Brasileiro Albap Academy.- She is a member of the Poetas del mundo Movement.- She is the editor of a web page, dedicated to the dissemination of culture, from the editorial staff of Alessandria today, an online newspaper, directed by dr.  Pier Carlo Lava. She is Grihaswamini's ambassador in Italy. - She is a member and participant in the prestigious Golden Family of the Munir Mezyed Foundation for Art and Culture-Romania. - Collaboration with the Nicaraguan periodist Carlos Javier Jarquin.
