MARTINA DI PARDO

In My Blue

Like the sea that breaks on the

rocks

my heart beats

and I who look at you am already among my waves.

Nel mio Blu

Come il mare che si infrange sugli scogli

il mio cuore si percuote

e io che guardo te sono già fra le mie onde.

Miracle

Every day.

Black and white.

 False and true.

Right or wrong

I dream and I hope.

I live and I pray.

Miracolo

            Ogni giorno.

            Bianco e nero.

            Falso e vero.

Giusto o sbagliato

            Sogno e spero.

            Vivo e prego.

Dark Light

You were not like San Lorenzo's night.

Luce Buia

Non sei stato come la notte di San Lorenzo.

MARTINA DI PARDO

MARTINA DI PARDO was born in Larino on August 13, 2002, she lives in a small town in Molise, Santa Croce di Magliano where she attends school and finishes her studies at the scientific high school “Raffaele Capriglione”. As an only child, she says goodbye to her mother and father and flies to Chieti. She enrolls in the faculty of literature with a specialization in modern literature at the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara. Always a lover of writing, of the beauty of poetry and of everything that is most human and profound in the world, Martina begins to nurture the desire to “put on paper” her thoughts, her sketches, her verses, her words, her poems. A desire driven by what touches her inside, in her soul, a desire sharpened by the ups and downs of life, a desire developed by the love for love, for family and for the light of hope.  Thus, on an April night, during her second year of university, “C’è sempre tempo per rifiorire” was born. In January 2024, the book finally came to life thanks to the important collaboration of Giovanni Nerone, a stationer from Martina’s hometown. The book was born thanks to the Etabeta publishing house. Martina is now 22 years old, she is close to graduating in modern literature, she has many dreams in her drawer, among which is to conclude her studies with the two years of the master’s degree. Martina hopes to be able to always do better, to write many more books and to continue to color, day after day, her great passion: poetry.
