CAROLINE NAZARENO-GABIS

CAROLINE NAZARENO-GABIS

FACES OF PIERIAN SPRING

My eyes are dauntless
Staring on an empty ferris wheel
I am sipping the lyrical wind
Calming my kaleidoscopic emotion
As it muses from the springs
Intoxicating my labyrinthine memory.

I am sailing from the mirage every-whither
The context of millennial nephesh
Daydreaming, wandering in your midsummers
To my world, my home, my joy
In the flooding rhymes of your heart.

The curtain laces afterimages
Of that song ‘’vivere e amore’’
Bathing my tongue with fusions of change
Writing in braille from innermost quench
Yet, I have to see you withstand
Eavesdropping crossroads
Filling in my whys
As we, the survivors of time
Will meet in our poetry
Like nocturnal passion in our day to day
Explosions of planetary rebellions.

Now, I live in the oceanic silence
To remember the last stanza
Of our magical youth
Etching ephemeral mornings
Giving all mothers and fathers
Eyes of our sky, skies to our eyes
Life to our hearts, hearts to our lives.

SONGS OF MEMORY CASTLES

i have been inside the question a thousand times
when i fall down and have not saved the king
i rebuilt the lost towers in all dreams to dream,
waited for the cranes and dragons’ return
so once again, my heart will bloom no remorse--
an abode of beautiful beginnings.
the torrential winds scattered my confessions over the chimney
the casket of despair was torn down the memory lane,
up straight to the seascapes of countless sun,
i have smelled the cascading revelations
of wildflowers in the velvety midsummer,
gathered some butterflies in the rainforest of my mind;
i adored the sweet canopy of hereafter.
i crouched under the fire tree; nostalgic about the Celtic knot
that i wore to embrace the legends of  our destiny—
entangled in reciprocating evergreens of infinity.
i have been to your thoughts; your thoughts been to me
like castle of distant stars and unwritten songs.

THE BRAVER ATLANTIS

i bury the moon
in my night-pillows
feathery weather shapes and retells
my resplendence
from the tiny wicks
to a spectacular lighthouse
of my deveined being,
my roots of  equanimity.

i zip the mouth of penchants
shrinking over the hilly shadows
sensing the tassels of life
where no heaven, no hell
because i live in a home,
of awoken acquiescence.

there, where i must, i am
the maiden of the ageless ocean
no myths  of overruling winds
to swindle swing my own ship my embraced streaks
because i am the braver one,
the host of the never lost.

BEYOND HER STORYLINE

She thinks today, for the dreamboats of Tomorrowland
She cares for the believers waiting at the corridors of the braves
Her majesty harmonizes the topsy-turvy railways ,
Crossroads, highways and muddy planes.
She smiles after the boiling headaches.
In her breast, she feels, she breathes, she creates
Ultra-hemispheres of Herculean lifts.
Her power conceives caressing supernova
Over magma-stiletto tongues,
Her eugenic harps and tambourine
Of sempiternity; her world remains
To be the damsel of evolving legend,
Herself is the temple of solitude,
The woman having no name  isolates no one
Because she is All,
For US.

MORE THAN SHE

She is a woman.
She thinks of an open window
Widely open from divergence to bridges
Of love, light, and music of life.
She is the energy, and  the synergy,
She weeps on her bended knees
Singing a morning prayer
That every new day
Is a bullet-free
Un-threatened,
No war.
Her glimpses of rhyme-zones
Are countless possibilities.
She is the Lady Madonna,
The epitome of woman’s perspectives.
She is more than festivals,
She is a peace warrior, the sole soul mentor
She is omnigender;
She loves beyond description.
