How does it feel?

To come to the new world

And to the new family~

How do you all feel?

Do any of you feel loved?

Unloved?

Connected?

Wanted?

Do you all get confused?

Eight years ago

My brother and me

Came to the United States~

And those were our feelings.

We had come from the upset side.

What all had mattered to us

We had left it all behind~

We had no idea who our new parents were.

An older man had introduced me and my brother..

To our new aunt and to our new father~

We were black

And they were white

You have no idea how afraid we were~

We had spoken a language that was different.

We were completely different.

So we had no idea~

Who

What

When

Where~

And

Why. Exactly...We were flying across the sea

To a whole different and unfamiliar country

And a whole new and unfamiliar environment~

HE WILL

No matter what

No matter what they say

No matter what this world throws at you

No matter what this world puts upon you

Never be ashamed of the Bible!

Never be silent from spreading the Good News!

Because Honestly

More than anything

What this world needs to hear~

Is The GOOD NEWS!

Each and every day

Learn more

And spread what you know!

By any means~

DO NOT BE AFRAID!!

STAY STRONG!

STAY BOLD!

You are NOT ALONE!

Because our LORD our GOD is with thee!

I am not afraid!

FAITH LINDQUIST and her younger brother lived in orphanage for 5 1/2 years in Ethiopia. Her Godparents from America adopted her and her brother in 2008.  They now live in Indiana. She has an older brother in Ethiopia and if it’s God’s will she hopes to see him one day. God has given her the greatest family she could ever ask for and she thanks Him so much for that. One thing she has always loved in her life is writing poems and taking care of elderly people. She loves helping others too and she has always loved poetry. She loves reading and writing but she just never thought she would publish a book at all. As a matter of fact, she never thought she would be good enough to publish one!
