Found none to care

Selfish motives confront

Tried to pour out

All pains through my verses

In a hope to shun all darkness

But It engulfed my being tight

Pages of life got painted with silent muse

Feel fed up

With everything I loved or lived

Just wish, You bless me

That my beats feel laced with

Recitation of your sacred name

May be it spiritual

I wish to experience you behind

The closed lids of my eyes

Feel ecstasy in watching you

In your infinite shapes & colours

LIFE TO GROW FREELY

Life is just an ever growing tree

Bears fruits sour & some sweet

If we grow along it & feel free

Taste all we get & happily treat!

Time waves continue to affect

Sweet moments follow sorrows

Living with odds, we need to act

Keep pace & to shoot right arrows!

We enjoy comforts but feel pains

Care good eating and good sleep

Live pleasures & not tears to rain

Miseries to hide and joys to reap!

Greed may be causing global unrest

May be intolerance on terror-terrace

Screams of homeless need the nest

Cruelty dies, humanity live with grace

JAGJIT SINGH JANDU (JIT): He born on November 20, 1951 in a small village Thuhi, near Nabha ( district Patiala, Punjab) He graduated at college with Physics, Chemistry &Mathematics. Did Master degrees in Economics, Education, Commerce & also did Bachelors of Law (L.L.B.). Served as Mathematics Master (14 years) & Lecturer in Commerce (19 yrs) and retired from Department of Education, Punjab in November 2009. He wrote a little in his native language Panjabi earlier and got inspired by foreign poets e.g. Chryssa Velissariou & Jen Walls to write in English. His poems have been part of more than a dozen international anthologies. Chryssa displayed his poems by video presentation at poetry festival “Peace Poetathon” in Sept 204 & 2015 also at Poetry Beat fest at Larisa (Greece) in Sept 2016. He published his anthology of poems “Journey of Love to Salvation” in Dec 2016. Though he wrote poems on love, yet he feels only spirituality can keep his being living with peace at mind. He wishes, may humanity enjoy everlasting love & peace all over the Globe!
