Poetry of Providence

Love has no boundaries           it has no fences
not owned by religions          or their pretenses
It's source isn't           found among the nations
from the least          or greatest in their stations

It's like the winds     whose circuits cover earth
to all that lives           each one it gives all birth
Like the falling                  rain shed upon us all
every person lived              hears within its call

No nation or race               is it's sole possessor
or organization               it's owner or confessor
come away     come away           it's time to see
It's habitation                   should be you and me

Even sinners love sinners    our Lord had said
where love exists        within life's not yet dead
But his command     has asked more of you all
To love your foe                  a brother in the fall

Loves origins                        existed before man
Through it's practice                master it you can
Since God is Love        his preeminence is lifted
Conferred upon his children    it has been gifted

His waters are a spring      that quenches thirst
A cup overflowing            within to be immersed
His is a power          that overcomes even death
and is projected     to save man’s life and breath

Romans 13:8-13 (ESV)

Fulfilling the Law Through Love

8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other,
for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit
adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal,
You shall not covet,” and any other commandment,
are summed up in this word: “You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to a
neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law

I long to see you       become forever well

filled with life and happiness  that from which we fell

I love you for the character               things in you I see

the unpolished gems you contain    your inner quality

I see your desire          and searching to be loved

your tenderness to the prison   there what you dream of

I’ve considered the places       where your mind does dwell

the heights you have aspired       but far from them fell

I see into your inner core    not just upon your face

the mind residing in you    that your soul encase

I love that you know      you can count me a friend

and your confidences           I’ll keep until our end

I know those places      where the hurting went

with childhood abuses         were treated with contempt

I know how criticism         did with anguish fill

and how the remains        are in there living still

I have seen you alone     crying in the night

with no one there       to say it will be alright

you put on a brave front     as we all display

but despair rides your soul     each and every day

And there did I see  beauty    that lives you within

the part you have protected                 from violence of men

from the words and deeds      from their actions cruel

dispensed by those ignorant           the unthinking fool

But I am only human          can only see a little part

the results of mankind’s thoughtlessness                 effects upon your heart

so little comfort can I impart             that effectively touches you

until the Son of God                  his love on earth will do

Just know you will always   be within my thought

though not here present               you’re in my mind allot

I’ll look forward till next I see you       and look upon your face

wrap my arms around you     hold you in my embrace

Know that your sorrow         Gods intends desist

through the only Kingdom         these governments resist

those who hurt others       will become restrained

until the hearts of men                                can become retrained

These are the promises   that through Christ will come

that which resides in heaven        his will on earth be done

and not another soul   will ever hurt your heart

for Gods promise is             that Love          will never you depart

Philippians 2
1 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

I found you in the Mountains

and her streams

not among     cherished traditions

where   mankind   clings

but in the songs    of the meadow larks

within the forest      and the valley’s   parks

Oh how excellent are your ways   my beloved

and the course you set         is always true

your reflections give light         just like the sun

to follow you  is the path      I’ll always choose

My heart swells     as the floodgates of the rivers

as a torrent of waters       which are undamned

its flow like the      tidal’s     power the oceans

my attention is riveted     by their demands

Among men shall I find      none like you

or the spectrum      of talents you possess

the seeds of inspiration       do they empower

and it’s influence I      wish always to  express

You mind moves swift          as waves of Light

their energy is formed   and fired by  thought

your influences   governs life by its commands

and the trails of life        are in them wrought

Unable am I    to ignore      all that is you

and the abuses      from which I have been torn

that drives and strives     excellence to pursue

to escape the slumlords       where I was born

Romans 8:4-6

New International Version
Ro 8
4 in order that the righteous requirement of the
law might be fully met in us,who do not live
according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
5 Those who live according to the flesh have their
minds set on what the flesh desires; but those
who live in accordance with the Spirit have their
minds set on what the Spirit desires.6 The mind
governed by the flesh is death, but the mind
governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
