RAJASHREE MOHAPATRA

A Song Of Love And Bliss

In the last remnant of the primeval forest,

You are there for years

Gradually aged.

Wild animals manifested anger

With bitterness in tongue

And teeth clenched.

Being entrenched by roots ,

You sit radiating calmness,

And Interpret reality of this infinite vastness.

Birds pound heaven with their wings

While you exude love for the

Benefit of mankind

Oh wayfarer !

The world is intended for them,

Who live in the name of peace

And sing wildly for years,

the song of eternal love and bliss.

A Consulted Message

The tells of joy and sorrow

They never disclose

Who is greater and who is not

What causes their rise or fall

Is there any clue to know these all.

It's true !

Life remains suspended between the two

And we keep on wandering in deep woods

When one shows heaven

The other works menacingly with glee

Sorrows in joy and joy in the sorrows

While one is on bed and the other rests on the pillow

At times in both the day and the night

They  sing the same song in a row .

There is no other way than to follow.

Every painful voice of mine

Is a message of consolation for my heart ,

And every clamour of joyous memories

in an echoed music

Which  is non nostalgic and harsh

Dawn To Dusk

During he progressive run of the time cycle

We meet dusk at the end of a day

Dusk plays its the memory disk

And sings our past revered moments

Tear soaked

Broken , gray remembered pictures

The pleasant memoir knocks

The heart in sleep

And leads to germinate hopes

At every daybreak

Defining The Undefined

She is usually forgotten

But eyebrows get raised

When with a sparkle ,

Some words  or some lines

Describe her tragical sentiment

With  bright colours.

She is not inked adequately

Letters ultimately written with blood

Turn black, in turn to explain her

Instead the brushes dipped in

Salty drops of sweat

May successfully portray her.

She is your haunting past

That speaks the truth

When truth turmoil,

She herself begins to speak.
