CHRISTOS DIKBASANIS

The Stone Giant

Through the Oort cloud

Beyond Ceres, Pluto, Kepler

a dark huge body

such as overloading of our daily sins

he travels alone

He's in a hurry to get to nowhere,

in the uncharted heart of infinity

He moves menacingly

Don't stand in front of him

claiming his glory unsuspected

It will destroy your existence

your dreams, your desires,

your colonies

He often forgets his course

It doesn't even have a goal

How could he have someone equal opponent?

It would be reckless which would straighten

his negligible stature to him the giant son

of the eternal stand global cruelty

Immortality

Sometimes in the mirror

I can't see my face

Just a weird laugh

sounds from the depths of the mirror

I cut my veins,

maybe from the blood inside

a child sprang up

which I have lost sight of for many years

He hasn't spoken to me in so many years

It doesn't touch me,

just squeeze hard my mind

without being able to face it

It is an invisible form

which she likes the wild teasing

But I have lost her from my point of view

Loss of a loved one ethereal plasma

who always faced me

with derision, bitterness, compassion

- Life is hard! he was telling me,

when I looked it in the eye

What do you want the immortality?

Nothing is easy

Why do you seek eternal life?

There is no comfort in pain

There is no admission

for all the jerks you've achieved

Only envy and hatred,

because you overcame the obstacles,

because you crossed the border of yourself

Why do you seek the undead life?

Only troubles is in store for you

the eternity

The Hymn Of The Renaissance

In which planet the hopes grow on?

Through which star the hearts reborn?

In which galaxy sparks are rekindled of desires?

In which Universe the love and empathy never dies?

Ever since I left from the singularity of my globe,

I seek the heavenly worlds

that will wake up again my purest senses

I'm looking for lust

of my pure, pure soul

which I have not been able to discover under greed

and the vanity of men,

under the flimsy and meaningless their desires,

inside the maze of everyday death

and their willful sins

I struggle to open the gates

of the heavenly mysteries,

of the riddles of space,

to become their partner and lover

dedicated and eloquent

but we still manipulate

from the bloody colors of the Earth,

from earth chimeras

who did not tire to persecute me even here

on the edge of infinity

Will I ever be redeemed from the gloomy shades

of my fear, of my hesitations, of my inhibitions?

I will ever be left with confidence

in the hopeful arms of heaven?

I will ever feel of cosmic Spring the vertigo?

I will escape the agony of my smallness?

I am a mortal creature,

apocaide of a once life carrier,

primordial fire my existence

which plundered

will i ever make it to flood my body and mind

with the notes of a resurrection hymn?
