Appreciate Yourself

 He who turns his back on you does not appreciate you,

 who tramples and insults your happiness,

 when you're good, it's there

 and it disappears when things go wrong.

 Don't run after the one who doesn't want,

 to share a part of life with you,

 who really cares about you

 he will not exalt himself over your pain.

 Don't let the life in you fall asleep,

 already fight and believe in yourself,

 every work on yourself will bear fruit,

 and who doesn't want to be with you...

 just tell him: goodbye!

 Appreciate yourself enough,

 that you don't ask anyone to be with you,

 wish everyone a happy trip with a smile,

 who doesn't care about your life!

 I Believe In You

 I believe in you

 in your strength,

 that you can conquer all,

 because so far you have proven that

 and the impossible becomes possible. 

There is no shame in falling to the bottom,

it is not a sin to be imperfect,

it is a sin to do evil to others,

and it hurts to find happiness 

in someone else's cup and drink from it.

 Never be the wind that blows,

 and the branches of one's life break,

 already be the shining sun

 and remove the clouds with his rays.

 I believe in you, in your goodness,

 to the power with which you conquer the world,

 because remember; without proper care and daily shine,

 even the most beautiful flower withers.

 So fly on the wings of life,

 shine and bring strength to others,

 and what needs to find you, know

 they will find you at the right address.

DANIJELA ĆUK: The author's name is Danijela Ćuk, she was born on May 25, 1989. in Vukovar with residence in Čavli (Croatia). The author writes poetry and prose, so far she has published three independent collections of poetry and participated in 34 joint collections. Her songs have been published in many international magazines and portals and awarded with diplomas and recognitions. In addition to writing, Danijela is also involved in volunteering.
