FROSINA TASEVSKA

Something More

I am something more

than a song with underlined words,

more than overwhelming silences,

more than burning warmth.

More than a sleepy smile,

a peculiarity in the depth of breath, more.

More than your sunrise

and my sunset,

more than a gentle, tight embrace.

I am something more

than a spark from heated pupils,

more than a hazy dream,

more than the fiery blaze

that runs from the peak of the lips,

more than a thought thrown into oblivion.

I am something,

something more than memories stretching into infinity.

I am more love than affection.

Silent Plea

I cried out,

but no one noticed.

I shouted for help,

yet no one listened.

I begged desperately,

but no one came to my aid.

Only the beast stood by my side.

With a single scream, the world fell silent.

But silence was never mercy—

it was the weight of all the unheard voices,

the echoes of pain left unspoken.

The beast watched, unblinking,

its shadow stretching over my soul,

a silent witness to my fading fight.

I stood alone in the hush of the void,

my voice stolen by the wind,

my tears swallowed by the night.

And as the stars blinked out, one by one,

I whispered my final plea—

not for salvation,

but for an end.
