Introspection Of Consciousness
I closed my
eyes,
not to escape
the world,
but to discover
the one within
me.
There, beneath
the noise
of voices and
expectations,
I found a
silence
that knew my
name.
Consciousness
is not merely
awareness.
It is the mirror
that reflects
the truths
we try to hide.
The deeper I
looked,
the fewer
answers I found,
yet the
questions
became more
honest.
Who am I
when no one is
watching?
What remains
when every
title,
every fear,
and every mask
falls away?
Perhaps
introspection
is not about
finding
perfection,
but meeting
ourselves
without
judgment.
For the greatest
journey
is not across
oceans
or through
galaxies,
but into the
quiet depths
of our own
consciousness,
where the mind
ends,
the soul begins,
and truth
waits patiently
to be
recognized.
Batey
Before other
names
were spoken,
the earth
already carried
the echo
of our
footsteps.
In the batey,
it was never
just a ball in
motion.
It was honor,
strength,
and the unity
of a people.
Every movement
was memory.
Every glance,
a promise.
Every victory,
a tribute
to those
who came before
us.
The dust rose
like a song,
while the sun
watched in
silence
the game
of a nation
still breathing
freedom.
Today,
stones remain,
symbols endure,
and memories
live on.
For as long as
someone
speaks the Taíno
name,
the batey
will continue to
live
in the heart
of our history.
