LISELLE POWDER
Scammers
Never
thought the day would come,
that this would happen.
Sometimes love can come knocking
at your door unexpectedly.
At least that is what was said.
A friend request. That got accepted.
Everything was so right, the sweet words
make magic come alive. Never had it so good.
The
conversations, pure and sweet.
Back and forth texting. It was love.
childish ways came back to memory,
like a princess waiting on that prince.
The promise of love, togetherness,
devotion was said. But something
was not right. Why was this site so popular?
What was the trick?
Never went on this site.
After being asked to, many times.
Was told to sign up. But then,
this is not the first time
this site came into play
and the same conversations
All those intriguing words,
like a real Mills and Boons novel.
The thought was there, anyway
conversations went on, until
a friend that was confided in,
pulled up the information. BANG!!!
caught red-handed.
Feelings of anger came. DELETE!! DELETE!!
It was so real, feeling heartbroken.
It was too good to be true.
That’s what they do. They come online
praying on the vulnerable souls, on
lonely
women, needing love.
On women that been through and
saw this as answered prayers,
after living a life of seclusion.
They prey on the souls that are weak,
that can’t see themselves as beautiful,
strong, gifted and worthy.
Because
they need a man to tell
them that, how beautiful god made them.
And they listen. Thank god instincts
made a way, some women are free
but what about the others. Are they free?
The Wallet
Stepping up and entering the bus, and showed the
ticket.
Sat down on the seat. There sitting next to the
seat a wallet.
WOW!!. Wondering if this is for real, so many
thoughts ran through.
Thoughts that send visions. “This wallet may have
money.”
YESS!! could see have a time, taking the money,
paying bills, eating at a fancy restaurant.
How good it would feel to live like a queen for
just one day
or maybe two, three days, just a thought.
Could even
call in sick today and would not have to worry about
losing a day pay, because of the MONEY!!!
Thought about shopping sprees, buying the latest
outfits and getting rid
of those re-usable, washed out, some of them the
needle and thread was
there best friend for years. Can buy some
comfortable shoes.
And get rid of these worn out grind down shoes.
Sometimes believing that
these shoes could run, they would run like hell,
just to avoid these
feet in them. Could imagine how these shoes scream
everyday.
Could also be a good Samaritan and help the needy,
bring joy to someone.
Maybe a family could do with some food stuff, pack
their fridge.
WAKE UP!! traveling on the bus and found this
wallet.
Had to snap out of it. Taking up the wallet,
holding it, with a piece of paper wrapped around
it.
Asking god what to do.
The reply was to find the person.
Settling down on the job, the first thing is to
find some info. Opened up the wallet and staring
is the
money. Yes money, did not touch it. Just looking
for information.
Came across all types of cards, and saw the person
name.
Made calls to no avail, until an answer, got the
address.
To make a long story short. called a friend the
next day.
The hunt is
on, on the road.
Looking for this mystery man, it was good.
Feeling like detectives chasing the bad guy.
But not him, a good heart was felt, just got
issues like
everyone of us. We don’t always have it together
Some where down the road of life things happen.
Got him. Feeling of relief as if seeing Jesus.
Handed the prized possession over.
Goodbye wallet of treasures. Being thanked
so much
tears came. Could just imagine what was
going through the mind. It’s like losing that
first love
the love of a lifetime. Everything was intact.
So much thanks. Just seeing the happiness.
A reward was given. Yes a good one. The main
motive is
doing the right thing. If is was another person,
finding this wallet. Would they go all out to give
it back?
Or take the treasures of this prized possession.
My Journey
America the land of the free and the brave. So
much hope
came into being. But the hope still burns inside.
That fire, that test, the strong mind and the
strong willed.
The journey was not easy, but in order to get
where the road leads to happiness, the mindset
must be changed. The past of abuse, neglect,
falling into the wrong hands, doing the wrong
things,
was a stepping stone. Have to ask the question.
What is a dream? What is perseverance?
A soft heart can be the meal of a lifetime.
Unless it is broken, unless a trigger, unless
a shout of “ENOUGH!! IS ENOUGH!!”
Dinner will always be served.
A must to love, a must to hold on to life.
To strive and become all that there is to be.
Listen to the voices. Not the bad ones.
Listen to the good ones, they have a lot
to say. They echo, they preach, they teach.
The voices carry, and it pushes, it’s a learning
experience. To be able to overcome and look
back, not to be heartbroken, but to smile
with destiny and say, that GOD lead the way.
It’s a feeling like shackles and chains broken.
Not being held back, it’s a passion,
a hunger, a thirst for victory.
To many times being stepped on.
Too many times being walked all over.
Dinner like a feast, but the pots
and plates are empty, the shiny silverware
is rusted and no more, because the
restaurant is closed. Time is up.
The bending and breaking back is done.
Pack up, a new ship has sailed.
“Bon Voyage”, A queen of royalty
has come. NEVER!! to be broken,
NEVER!! to be bruised. NEVER!!
to be held captive. WOMAN!!
WOMAN!! STAND UP!!
and keep on stepping.
