GHEORGHE
Childhood
I remember, sweet childhood, I remember
When once upon a time on a meadow
You showed up between the clouds
And spoke to me.
You took me with you
On a Pegasus
And guided me through fantasy and fairy tale
lands.
The knight riding on a dragon
Penciled the Middle Ages,
And Ulysses on his journeys
Told me stories about mermaids and cyclopses.
The gods showed themselves in the temples
And advised me to keep an open mind.
While I was getting home that evening
Penelope and the flower fairies gave me an
invitation
And I’ve danced at a masquerade ball.
But, when the fun ended
You’ve flown far away
Leaving me on the couch.

Family
A shoulder to cry on
When we’re blue.
The heart of society,
Who passes on to the next generation
Culture, traditions and customs
Through education
Together with
The middle class
And the real values.
The roof over our heads,
The angel sent by God
Who is helping us in our time of need
And protects us wholeheartedly.
Our guide through life
And the portrait of trust.

The Swallow
Winter went far away
Spring has come.
She welcomed the swallow,
The guest of honor, with open arms.
Little, cute,
Wearing a tux
The swallow has returned.
He landed in the nest
That awaited to be cleaned.
He traveled far and wide
To say „hello” to his peers.
He stopped on the wire
To admire the springlike landscape.
He had a chat with the stork,
He asked the chickadee for advice,
He played with the blackbird
And in the end...
He joined the show.
