From The Sky

 

Your hand has a red rose,

rises to the sky, expresses love

from the top of the firmament to the light

of dawn that new colors wears.

From heaven you invoke blessings to God

My Christ

 

Turn your gaze to the world,

to every living being in the Universe.

Merciful to your children

who, while asking for your help,

Oh Christ,

they continue to scourge You every day.

Pitiful, suffering eyes,

they beg man to change.

My brother, listen: open your heart, it is my Christ who speaks to you from the Cross.

for every child who suffers,

ELISA MASCIA: Born in Santa Croce di Magliano (Cb), on 13/04/1956, she lives and works in San Giuliano di Puglia (Cb). Retired teacher. Writing is a real need for life and draws inspiration from anything or any surrounding event. She has participated in various national and international poetry competitions obtaining awards, certificates of participation, merit and honorable mentions.She receives invitations and convocations to multiple international and world events, commemorative and themed events in which she participates.
