NITA B GEORGE

The Other Woman

Not

One of them

Was

True to his woman

Years

Of

Sharing the bed

And

The

Body

Made No difference.

In

His mind, unfaithful,

The

Picture that delighted

Was

Of

The

Other woman.

Her Voluptuous bosom

Her delightful womanhood

I

Watched invisible

And

Laughed.

Laughed a silent laugh

Oh!

Beautiful, beautiful.

How beautiful

The

Other woman

Indeed !

Dark Is The Darkness

That Surrounds Me My Lord.

Be My Light Forever...

The Light

When

The train steamed

Through

The dark tunnel

Long and unending,

I

Closed

My eyes tighter still

To

Make,

Dark more dark

Today

I

Stand in

Over awed fear

Widening

My eyes

For

Light

To

Cheer

Sterile Memories

I

A

Cemetery

Where lie

Dead

Memories.

Sometimes,

Ghosts

Awaken

Bringing

Smiles

Or

Tears

And

Then,

Return

To

Their graves

To

Lie

In Peace...
