MARIETA MAGLAS

An Eye For An 'I'

An all-perceiving cosmic

eye opened up to me about

an epistemic understanding of willpower.

Raindrops trickled down the wet oval window.

Although it was not blue, the eye was bluing.

The stars' blue hue was evaporating from their core.

We were silent for a while as

words of suffering broke through

the tongue's sensory overload.

Their meaning became lost

in the melancholy of the rain,

and I could not understand them.

This growing gloom absorbed the blues.

I was unable to see you.

Still, I would assume that God could see this.

Double Rondelet Triolet For Spring

With a deep touch,

The red poppy awakes the grass.

With a deep touch,

Red craves green's vibration so much

And the sun heats the sky watch glass.

The sky sounds like an old string bass

At the light touch.

The young flowers bloom in the spring

And when the time for green grass comes,

The sky vibrates like a bass string.

The red poppies bloom in the spring.

I can see nature's purest swing.

The wind searches for bongo drums

And glowing flowers during spring

As the season of green grass comes.

I see His love,

A rose blooming amongst the thorns.

I see His love,

In the clefts of the rock, a dove.

When the snowdrop the snow adorns

And for her winter, the spring mourns,

I see His love.

Shadows are inlaid with color

When the poppy awakes the grass.

When the land is multicolor~

Pastel shades, inlaid with color,

The grey cuckoo is a caller.

The sun heats the blue skywatch glass.

Pastels are inlaid with color

When the poppy rouses the grass.

Mirrored Nonet For Flamenco Dance

A juerga with flamenco guitars,

With fires blooming like red flowers,

Folks dancing in the moonlight

The dance of wounded souls,

Vibrant red dresses

White shirts like birds,

Falling shawls,

Dancers,

Sky,

Claps,

Cubic

Movements of

Color, music's

Seeds, hands being wings

Shadows on the white wall,

From soul detaching passion’s

Lights, motion vibrating the string,

Resonance for a new dimension.
