Awakening
Beneath the
clouds, a vibrant arch does spin,
From afar, I
hear a church bell's din.
Within myself, I
feel a doubt arise,
Does the sky
conceal a secret from my eyes?
In search of
truth, I seek a reason why,
To wake up once
more, to spread my wings and fly.
This daily flow,
with echoes from the space,
Seems sweet, yet
false, a deceptive embrace.
Does the Creator
truly exist, I ponder,
A question that
leads my thoughts to wander.
But perhaps, in
the end, I'll never know,
The answer
remains hidden, as I grow.
Diary
I dared to step
upon a path unknown,
To climb a
higher floor, to stand alone.
Perhaps to find
a brother on the way,
I thought I was
prepared for this new day.
Pretended not to
know how rough it might,
Deceived myself
that I could bear the fight.
I lied that love
awaited me ahead,
Yet knew that
storms would pour upon my head.
For a moment,
hoped to meet you there,
Though you were
hanging on another's care.
The road is new,
yet I remain the same,
A traveler from
the past, without a name.
I broke and left
it swiftly, just as you
Departed from
me, leaving me askew.
Sat down upon a
grassy patch so green,
To write my
final thoughts, my soul unseen.
