Seasons
Such a stifling
hot day!
The season of
summer shows its prowess
Thrusts its
brutal say
Parching throats
make a beeline for coolants
For vendors, It
is a heyday
In a few weeks,
the season will metamorphose
Like tender
mangoes' unwavering graduation
We will breathe
respite when dark clouds hover
The first spell
will satiate arid acres for sure
Another shift
will happen again in a few months
The fall season
with exotic color palettes
Shall decorate
earth's demeanor
Shedding old,
beginning anew will be the pattern
The earth will
brace up for cold climes of winter
If you do not
fall in line with
The pulse and
pattern of seasons
Your fate will
be that of a lost ant
Misplaced from
the queue, deemed to wither.
Am I?
Am I a victim of
fear psychosis?
Am I silenced by
homosapiens
As I fail to be
vindictive?
Is my silence
being construed as weakness?
Or, have I
fallen prey to sheer indolence?
I am often
haunted by such dubeity
As, I take slow
measured steps
along life's
linear and curved path
To explore my
standing on earth
I implore my
core...
Fluttering amid
raging winds of daily chores
To score a
priggish answer
"Am I
utterly inept in shooing away
Scathing remarks
and a barrage of vollies
Or, my earnest
desire is to let go off negativity
Arising out of
insinuations and culpability?"
My deep
introspection guides me to realise
That, neither I
am a victim of fear
Nor am I bullied
to silence by echelon
I am strong
enough to fight back and chastigate
But refrain from
such drastic outpours
Since, peace of
mind is my ultimate destination.
