END OF THE
RAINBOW
The sun
shines no more on this day
As the rain tumbles in a rumbling way
It falls from the blue in tiny droplets
Before a rising moon and a sinking sunset
As the rain tumbles in a rumbling way
It falls from the blue in tiny droplets
Before a rising moon and a sinking sunset
A prism
of colours decorated the skies
In tinted shadows before my eyes
As the thunder crashes off in the distance
While the earth posed no residence
In tinted shadows before my eyes
As the thunder crashes off in the distance
While the earth posed no residence
I felt
a bevy of blue sneaking upon myself
From a rainbow sharing a treasure of wealth
While a kiss of rain dripped off my face
As lightening struck out into dark space
From a rainbow sharing a treasure of wealth
While a kiss of rain dripped off my face
As lightening struck out into dark space
I
chased the rainbow yet found no end
As clouds raced by, where it bends
Then the rain stopped and the sky cleared
Before my riches could ever appear
As clouds raced by, where it bends
Then the rain stopped and the sky cleared
Before my riches could ever appear
