Allowing it to broaden my horizons

As it helps me to think

Searching on a deeper level

Exploring further afield

My pen becomes a mighty sword

From the bonfire of chaos

The ephemeral flames

That burned hot and bright

Brought forth new life

From the ashes

Harmony reigned once more.

Coerced by your behaviour

Those waves of delusion

You choose to believe

Always had to be right

To blind to really see

Fighting hard

To escape your darkness

Scarred as I escaped into the light

Took the opportunity and

Fled into the night.

Just us together

Watching the sun set

Listening to soothing waves

My soul it begets

Emotions of pure joy
