ANUSHNA BISWAS

Carol

When angry

Open your mouth in silence

Anger blows out

On a tall tree

I see how anger

Transfer into raindrops

Rain drops gather into moth ball

And leaves tree to carol

Church bell gongs

Peace crawls back

Into choir songs.

Behind Veneer

Behind the wind

Behind the wall

Behind the wild

Lies the wonder of nature

Those who can tear through tiers

Are the ones who gain peace

Travel wonderland

Free to fill soul

Behind the wall

Behind the wind

Found salvation from turmoil

Protected by quiet gale

Rest is trash

And fading smell.

Return Passage

Careless mind

Burdenless flight

Like a falcon leaves

In realm of emptiness

Life free

No responsibility

A pitch of arid land

Desert better than dead soul

Eyes guide me back

Where soul ticks

Bubbles Bob up

I feel

I am crucially alive.
