Since they met

it was certain that she had already inhabited

the rooms of his heart a few minutes

that precious time was enough

 

to shout to the world that they had liked each other

for eternity already chosen the other's beloved

unaware that soon by destiny lost

no longer in the cosmic space encountered

 

the heart that with open arms awaited

the never happened expected return

looking at the moon and asking for a miracle

Fin da quando si sono conosciuti

era certo che già lei aveva abitato

le stanze del suo cuore pochi minuti

quel tempo prezioso era bastato

 

per gridare al mondo che s'erano piaciuti

per l'eternità già eletto dell'altro l'amato

ignari che presto per destino perduti

non più nello spazio cosmico incontrato

 

il cuore che a braccia aperte aspettava

il mai avvenuto atteso ritorno

guardando la luna e chiedere miracolo

 

dipingere nel cielo quando la baciava

sempre nuovo era l'incontro con il giorno

nel promettere presto l'auspicato volo.

 

You Change My World

 

When my thought is on your lips

the sun lights up with maximum splendour

the rays warm and trace the path

to walk from the mind to the heart.

 

 Every time that kiss is a truthful seal

of the ever new pulsating with ardour

traveling with the wind that moves the sailing ship

feeling of the propelling universe.

 

The sun also participates shining

it penetrates between the lips with a ray

festively warms the heart in the depths

 

a moment that would never be fleeting

eternal like the sublime moon of May

it makes the union even stronger.

 

Tu cambi il mio mondo

 

Quando sulle tue labbra è il mio pensiero

sì accende il sole di massimo splendore

i raggi riscaldano e tracciano il sentiero

per camminare dalla mente al cuore.

 

Ogni volta quel bacio è suggello veritiero

del sempre novello pulsar con ardore 

viaggiar con il vento che muove il veliero

sentimento dell'universo propulsore.

 

Il sole anch'esso partecipa splendente

si addentra tra le labbra con un raggio

festoso il cuore nel profondo scalda

 

attimo che mai si vorrebbe fuggente

eterno come la luna sublime di maggio

rende ancora l'unione più salda.

 

Paint Love

 

Wherever we go together or alone

in any corner near or far

on the hands roses in thousands of buds

delicate aroma from around

 

while with the thought Pindaric flights

perfect drawings with your hand

that to the sad soul sweet consoles

effort or advice given was never in vain.

 

 Often in poetic verses eternal love

of broad smiles and deep breaths

of the soul and body true delight

 

in the alternation of summer and winter

always present desire indulge

of the morning greeting is pleasant news.

 

Dipingi l'amore

 

Ovunque andiamo insieme o da soli

in qualsiasi angolo vicino o lontano

sulle mani rose in migliaia di boccioli

aroma delicato d'intorno sprigionano

 

mentre con il pensiero pindarici voli

disegni perfetti con la tua mano

che all'anima triste dolce consoli

sforzo o consiglio dato mai fu vano.

 

Spesso in versi poetici amor eterno

di larghi sorrisi e respiri profondi

dell'anima e corpo vera delizia

 

nell'alternanza estate e inverno

sempre presente desiderio assecondi

del mattino saluto è piacevole notizia.

ELISA MASCIA: Born in Santa Croce di Magliano (Cb), on 13/04/1956, she lives and works in San Giuliano di Puglia (Cb).  She is a retired teacher.  She is a writer, poet, declaimer, radio host, reviewer, sworn in poetry competitions, cultural promoter. Writing is a real need in life and is inspired by whatever or event surrounds it. She has participated in many national and international poetry competitions, obtaining prizes, certificates of participation, merits and honorable mentions.  You receive invitations to participate in multiple international and world events, commemorative and thematic events.- In July 2019 the first collection of poems was published in the Silloge entitled "La Grattugia della Luna" with "L’ inedito Letterario ".- She participated in 10 editions of the Histonium Prize and in 2019 with the Silloge of 10 unpublished poems inspired by 10 paintings by the great artist and poet Erminio Girardo who held the role of teacher for her, marking a decisive turning point in the activity of poetess-writer .- You have translated some poems by the poet NilavroNill Shoovro and included in the annual anthologies and monthly archive of world poets edited by the same poet-publisher.  The book of poems "Savage Wind" published by "L’Inedito" by poet Asoke Kumar Mitra was translated and edited in September 2019.- Since February 2020 she is a collaborator in Radio Krysol Internazionale directed by Manuel Antonio Rodriguez Retamal in the program Maktub Azur palabras de amor y vida and co-host with Mariela Porras Santana in the program En Alas del Fénix.  Present on the youtu.be channel with video declamation of your own poems and of other authors in Italian and Spanish languages. - Since February 2021 she has been the creator, organizer and presenter of the Sentieri di vita program broadcast on Radio Krysol Internazionale. - She donor of voice within the projects: A voice of the dark-Theater in the dark-by Pietro La Barbera. - Since February 2020 she is a member and founder of WikiPoesia.- She is Academic, Coordinator and Administrator of Italy in the Luso-Brasileiro Albap Academy.- She is a member of the Poetas del mundo Movement.- She is the editor of a web page, dedicated to the dissemination of culture, from the editorial staff of Alessandria today, an online newspaper, directed by dr.  Pier Carlo Lava. She is Grihaswamini's ambassador in Italy. - She is a member and participant in the prestigious Golden Family of the Munir Mezyed Foundation for Art and Culture-Romania. - Collaboration with the Nicaraguan periodist Carlos Javier Jarquin.
