NITA B GEORGE

When Illusions Meet Delusions

It

Appeared

My soul mate had arrived

On

The

Lips of my prayers,

But,

Sometimes,

I

Think,

Prayers

Just float in the air

When

The

Lord Almighty

Is

Resting

Or

Perhaps

Bored of requests

Sent

To

Him.

I

Had

Asked

For

A

Soul mate.

You

Came

Into my life

And

I,

Mistook

You,

Showered

All my love

On

You

Only

To

Find

You

Were not

My

Soul mate

I

Had

Asked

For!

Poetry In Pain...

Cast in a cast

Lay

My broken leg

Facing

The

Half open door.

Inside,

Pain squirmed

In

Waves,

Outside,

Serenity

Prevailed...
