In the solemnity of your greatness

I surrender, O God, to your prowess.

The perfection of your peaks

Detail your firmness

Which, as Creator, you enjoy with delight

The swaying of your dancing emeralds

Crystalline reflections of your art

In perfect congruence

of effluvia, clouds, sky, mountains...

O! Magnanimous!!!

Allow me to contemplate your beauty

Which, like stones

through time

my ancestors cry out for eternity

While my gems absorb your natural,

watery springs

The aroma of your pines

turns green and they greet you with reverence,

your purity, their depths and their forms

like Eves emerging

from the nobility of your hands

O! God, purify me and transform me

into a drop of dew in your dawns.

They cry out, my beautiful pearls!

 

Poetry With Style

 

I wake up, an Epiphany, a dream

I deliriously evoke a part of it

an inkwell / a quill / a piece of paper

it's a white page / a reverie

 

Erato comes to meet me

with a garland of roses / her lyre

is my muse / it ignites me / it inspires me

it's my prelude / my ritual/ my center

 

The poetic work opens / an embroidery

it's music / it's anger / fury / symphony

I can't contain this euphony

the strokes / images appear / I burn

 

How to contain this madness

that overwhelms me with screams

I moan / I connect / I conceive

I catch / I describe

in order to calm this euphoria with sanity

 

Even so, I become passionate and enter into agony

they invade me / they suffocate / they dominate me

and a range of rhymes / they tune me

in a shower of verses / an ambrosia

 

That leads me to weave the thread

to create with my pen fine goldsmiths

to fill the white sheet with famous verses

and with my inkwell to dazzle my poetry with style

LUISA CAMERE QUIROZ: A lover of literature, she was born in Lima, Peru, graduated in Education at the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos, obtained her California Credential and directed Early Childhood Education Programs for 30 years in Peruand the USA. In her golden years she dedicated herself exclusively to literature. She is a teacher, plastic artist, literacy critic, poet, narrator, cultural manager, both in Peru and in the USA, California. -She is co-author of the books 'Renacer' and 'Remar' fromthe CIAM of La Molina. '-Mujer de Roble” is her narrative book. 2009’. -Her first collection of poems is “Mutilated in a ThousandWays.” 2021 - Second Poemary “Loaded with Love”2023. She recently earned the Award from Writers Capital Foundation as the “The Best Coordinator in USA duringthe Panorama International Literature Festival 2024. -She is the Administrator of Universal Poetic Utopia basedin California and the USA. She organizes and promotesculture and art through events worldwide.
