GEORGIANA-LAURA GHEORGHE

What Is Love?

Although moments don’t last long,

The impact she has on the soul is eternal,

Making it shine brighter than the sun,

Or making it shed floods of bitter tears

When she hurts it with deception.

When she’s honesty’s sister,

She doesn’t give us chimerical hopes,

Nor hold us captive in her chains.

She sets longing at rest with a hug,

She spurs the heart and mind

To work in harmony,

So that we can see the beauty of the life

That Father gave to us, His children.

How beautiful she looks on the stained glass

Of the house of man’s soul!

What Is In Their Looks?

In the silence of the two looks

Hides the sob of the heart,

That is tensed at the thought of

“What will the future hold for them

In a world ruled by uncertainty

That put burdens on their shoulders?”

You can see resignation in their eyes,

But inside they made a promise

To be in control of their own destiny

Despite the obstacles they have to overcome

Along their chosen path.
