Universal Dance
I danced for you
with the wind in my hair
Under a
star-spangled sky
The moon she
clapped
The clouds they
swayed
Everything
dancing in time
This earthly
dance, a parade of life
Bow down to the
warrior’s cry
The heavens are
packed
It's a full
house tonight
The maypole is
all tied
Yet still I
dance, as dance I must
To please the
incoming tide
I danced for you
with the sun in my hair
The breeze
whispers her magical tune
I danced for the
faeries
I danced for the
trees
I danced to the
warrior’s cry
This dance is
eternal, it will never end
The dance of
paradise and the universe
A dance to
fulfil the soul.
Questions
What does the
future hold
What's in store
for me
Will I still be
around
At the age of ninety-three
Will it be an
exciting adventure
With thrills and
and laughs galore
Or will it be
dull and dreary
A total and
utter bore
Do I have a
guardian angel
Who'll help me
tread the path
Will I feel
pride and contentment
Or feel the
winds of wrath?
I guess that
I'll find out in time
I'll take each
day as it comes
I'll strive to
do my up most best
To jam-pack them
full of fun.
