Wonderful Universe

 

This universe is large

It is a wonderful

My dream is fact

I say it true

 

Since it never breaks

My existence is on it

Never I ask a question

For I know where to live in

 

What thing I worry about

Is the sun still bright

If not, where should I go

No land to take a rest

 

Though it is as large as sky

But the existence seems happy

Because of humanity amongst

To broaden thy lives

 

Let it be in mind now

As long as my soul is in my body

To think like this is significant

It needs thousand times in the lives

 

This World Belongs To Us

 

How can I miss in the lives

While I am now on the earth

My existence is still going on

Never I think it uselessly

 

My soul will not go away

To sustain the lives

Since this world belongs to us

And I know it is a must

 

Before I come to the silent land

Let us think Twice

Before it breaks into pieces

That the existence is significant

 

What makes me confused about is the sun

To destroy what I wish

And no water to put off

Caused by Its less companions

 

Keep humanity on existence

The universe may not be angry

To state it as a friendship

That's the lives being on

 

Before the death comes

Let us think it twice

Since this world is not eternal

To save all coming into paradise

SIAMIR MARULAFAU: (Indonesia) He is a bilingual poet, writer and author who writes in English and Indonesian language. He has published 9 books. He is an active member of various poetry groups on Facebook and participates in many poetry contests. His writings are part of several national and international magazines, newspapers, journals and anthologies. He has been a member of OPA group in writing poetry. He has been writing poetry in this group for many years. Besides writing poetry, he is an active to write some articles in English. He presented the scientific articles as a presenter and speaker in National and International seminar in many countries like in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and some other parts of countries He has won many awards for his poetry. Currently, he works as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Vocational, University of Sumatra Utara, Medan-Indonesia. Because of writing some poems and presented scientific paper sin many countries, he was awarded Dr (HC) by the Thames International University, France and he was inaugurated in Malaysia in 2024. He is now still active in writing poems in English and Indonesian language and has been teaching English at Vocational Faculty at University of Sumatera Utara, Medan-Indonesia.
