Stars and planets are moving independently.

A celestial ballet of the universe for everyone, without resentment.

Galaxies are swirling like a cosmic ocean,

A dance of marvel, wild and carefree,

without rancor.

 

Nebulae blossom like beautiful flowers in space.

Supernovae burst with a gleaming face.

Black holes whisper secrets unspoken,

A mysterious symphony astonishing, young and old unwoven.

 

The moon orbits Earth in a soothing sway.

The planets align in a titanic way.

Comets streak like gems looking bright,

A heavenly spectacle, crystal clear and delightful.

 

In this cosmic dance, we find our place of existence,

A very light yet super-spreading convergence.

A grand connection resides for one and all in the rhyme of the universe,

A murmuring dance of life, sublimating humanity without traverse.

 

 Cosmic Dance

 

There exists a vast expanse of space and time,

A rhythmic dance of stars creates

a celestial rhyme.

The universe unfolds, a mystery so vast and grand,

A symphony of existence, we see across the land.

 

Galaxies rotate, like diamonds bright,

Nebulae bloom, in shimmering light.

Planets move, in orbits divine,

A cosmic ballet, where gravity entwines.

 

In this vastness of the earth, we select our place,

Though it is small, still vital in cosmic pace.

Our existence, a transient by nature,

But we have lived and grown, abiding our culture.

 

The stars above are twinkling in the sky,

Reflect the dreams that we see, without shy.

The moon's soft glow, a gentle beam,

Illuminates the path to see the dream.

 

In the darkness, there is a glow of light,

A spark of life that ignites, making humans might.

The universe whispers its secrets low,

The theory of existence and the mysteries are factual we know.

 

So let us be astonished at the cosmic show,

A dance of atoms signifying its marvel glow.

And amid vastness, search our own tiny part,

Though it is small, yet very vital, beating every heart.

Dr. ALEKHA PRASAD MOHARANA is a passionate Indian author-cum-trilingual poet, presently working as the Principal of D.A.V. Public School, Jajpur Road, Jajpur, in the state of Odisha. He is an accomplished poet in English and Odia literature, who is a source of inspiration among the literary luminaries of English and Odia literature. He generally writes romantic, melancholic, patriotic, and philosophical poems. He belongs to a famous village named Haripur in Jajpur District,Odisha. After schooling in his native village of Haripur, he studied intermediate and graduation at V.N. College, Jajpur Road, then persued M.A. in Economics from G.G.D. University, and M.A. in English.He achieved a Doctorate degree in language and literature and D.Litt. from Prixton and Church University.US.A andDoctorate in Education from Theophany University. He promotes his specific writings around world utilizing his knowledge and experience. He is an award-winning poet who has achieved various laurels from the circle of writing worldwide. His rhythmic poems are highly praiseworthy and attract readers worldwide. Many of his poems have been translated into different Indian languages and received global appreciation. He has received many well wishes for his upcoming writings and success in the future. He is an award-winning poet and author who has been awarded honorary doctorate degrees from the International Humanitarian Organization and the International Academy of Culture and Literature in Bangladesh,and Prixton and Church university and he is also a winner of Rahim Karims' World Literary Prize 2023. Besides, he is a dramatist and lyricist in Odia literature and has written seven social and mythological plays,. He has also completed 184 epistolary poems with Dr. Frieda Norma Dela Cruz of the Philippines and Dr. Dipika Bhatt of India.
