Buddha
Buddha at last
got over every agitation
And balanced his
own mind
In order to
attain
Nirvana.
The world is not
good to the good
Don't correct it
It can correct
(read corrupt)
You.
Better make your
self ductile
Whether there is
a valley
Or a mountain,
Ignore.
The evil cannot
destroy
What good has
created
Look back and
feel
Secure.
Ram killed
Ravana, and Krishna,
Kamsa and
Duryodhana
They could not
kill their
DNA.
Good and Evil
stay and die
In instalments
Get over the
assaults
History
Lesser men think
they can win
They don't know
Who they are
fighting for
Pandvas or
Kaurvas?
I have come a
long way
I look back and
see
The evil
operating in
Maat Lok.
Girls being
killed in the womb
The righteous
christed
Truth socrated
in my
World.
They disturbed
me
When I was the
King,
Now I am Buddha
The Victorius.
Point Of Decline
When age is
advancing
Living organisms
cannot claim
Ceaseless growth
Rather they
touch the point of decline.
No tree can go
up and up
Nor roots down
and down
Men too stop at
a certain length
And all things
divine
There is a limit
to the bounties
Of the earth
And a line
beyond which
Even criminals
cannot fall.
Upon reaching
the point of decline
Things appear to
stay
In full glory
The fall
testifies the decline theory.
At the point of
decline
Faces need
cosmetic showers.
Sinking hearts
need hope
To supplement
declining powers.
JERNAIL SINGH ANAND
Dr. JERNAIL SINGH ANAND, [the Seneca, Charter of Morava,
Franz Kafka and Maxim Gorky awards Laureate, with an opus of 180 books, whose
name adorns the Poets’ Rock in Serbia]] is a towering literary figure whose
work embodies a rare fusion of creativity, intellect, and moral vision. He’s
not just an Indian author but a global voice, challenging readers to confront
the complexities of existence while offering hope through art and ethics. His
legacy seems poised to endure as a beacon of conscience in a turbulent world. If Tagore is the serene sage of a colonial
past, Anand is the fiery prophet of a chaotic present. Anand’s genius lies in
his relentless ambition and ethical depth. Anand may well be considered as the
conscience of the 21st century, carving a unique niche among Indian English
writers with a voice that resonates globally while remaining fiercely Indian.]
