The Sound Of Stars

 

Listen to the sound of silence,

My soul, searching everywhere

Of the enchanting silence

The soothing voice.

 

Yet the silence has no sound,

But the sound of the stars

That from the cosmos comes,

As I listen to the world

The deafening thunder.

 

And I strain and say:

"Why do I hear this noise

And no one else?"

 

Last among the creatures

Of the universe,

Absorbed, I grasp

Your persuasive voice

That on timeless paths leads me.

 

I love your sound, oh silence,

That my soul reproduces in an echo,

When I muffle the angry voice

Of a world without peace and at war.

 

Wait For Me

At The Threshold Of Time...

 

I was not alone at the edge of the wood, beyond the hedge...

I was not uncertain light on the path.

Did I stumble, did I fall? Am I guilty perhaps?

But you were there at the end, reaching out your hand to me.

Lightweight feather suspended I proceeded in the wind,

Danced here and there among impervious slopes

Leaps as light as the beating of wings,

Angelic presences always beside me.

I speak to them, voiceless voices answer me,

Silence made spirit, musical essence.

 

You, enveloped in silences, make time flow

In the hourglass, insensitive biological converter,

Mocking us humans helpless from inevitable death,

Dark corner in which we always go astray.

 

Calm ocean is time in its stagnant quiet,

Rippling with life, sparks in motion,

Flexuous waves in a crescendo that dies on shore,

Tide of thoughts oscillating between being and becoming.

But I will stop the moment before the nothingness,

Ephemeral instant, I will stop the moment to meet you

Beyond the threshold of this inhuman time,

Plagued by wars and genocide.

Beyond the space of this earthly life,

Mirror of infinite lives where I meet

Your gaze that I recognize among millions.

You cannot escape the ineluctable fate...
