CASTING A STONE...
with no facts on hand
to discern the truth
from both sides of the coin
were you not quick to
condemn
and judge without trial?
for whatever wrong
you deemed done unto you
was casting the first stone
your sweet revenge
as if to right a wrong?
what part of the lesson did
you miss
when the Teacher taught:
"Why do you see the
speck that is
in your brother's eye when
you do not
notice the log in your own
eye?" *
thinking of your supremacy
you cast the first stone
what value in life did you
gain
for neither you, nor me
are perfect, as the rest of
mankind?
