I Wait For You
Time, eternally,
flows oblivious
and is heedless
of my longing for you
waiting for you for a lifetime,
while the sun and moon
eternally continue to alternate in
sunrises and sunsets.
I wait for you while
love chases, with tenacity
and obstinacy
the arid humanity.
I linger there,
where I suspended our image of yesterday,
wishing it to be transformed
into that of today.
And although I know
my wish is in vain,
I do not lose hope
of carrying you within me.
It is to never have to say goodbye to you,
and still love you
in the eternity.
Where Did You Go Kindness
where did you go kindness
I haven't met you for years
and no one has mentioned you.
And your tolerance,
did you not go hand in hand
with solidarity and brotherhood,
enriching yourself with diversity?
Where has love for the different,
mercy, compassion gone?
Even the value of peace,
which once flew as high as the flag of nations,
has vanished into thin air.
Now there is only so much fog around us,
it would seem like that of an ordinary morning,
but instead, it is the dense fog of indifference,
which perpetually invades our hearts.
Will hope, love, peace and kindness ever return?
Only time will give us the right answer.
