Breath Of The Soul

The breath of the soul, a gentle sigh,

Whispers through stars, and lifts to the sky.

It stirs in the silence, it moves with the breeze,

A rhythm that calms, a soul’s quiet ease.

In every inhale, the universe wakes,

In every exhale, the stillness it makes.

It dances in moments, so subtle, so pure,

A breath that transcends, eternal and sure.

Through breath, we are one with the earth, the divine,

A sacred connection, both yours and mine.

The soul’s breath is endless, a soft, steady flow,

A journey within, where true wisdom will grow.

Just Pause And Pay Attention

As rains softly fall and murmurs 

Trees sway and delight in mirth 

Their love from afar is special 

Eliciting envy from all

The sincerity and intensity of their bond 

Is worthy of being cherished.

These gentle rains 

It's whisper touches my soul

As droplets caress the leaves

Making me glide through the passage 

of memories.

These soft rains

Their enchanting charm 

captivates me

Allowing me to ponder upon 

the freshness of the soil.

These rains 

falls down on me with intensity

enveloping my mind and heart 

like a strong emotion.

These untainted, pure rains 

descend freely,

without concern for where they land. 

They make no distinctions; 

they simply fall happily

These rains 

Life is like these rains

sometimes, it drizzles,  

at times it pours 

Sometimes there is just a drop on a lotus leaf

letting us explore the sunshine, 

 the rainbow 

adding sparkles to the untouched souls. 

These rains

let us dance in these rains 

and spread our wings

let us feel these rains,  

and not just get wet.

MEHAK VARUN: Writer, poet, an artist, Mehak Varun, is the author of four books - THE Humane Quest vol 1, 2 & 3 and 'I am Me'. She has been bestowed with '100 Inspiring Authors of India' award in Kolkata. She has also been honored with the 'Women Of Influence 2019' award presented on women's day in New Delhi.
