For A Moment At Least
For a moment at least feel
impetuous life soaks its fingers
with light and then raise
a song to the blue.
For a moment more
make the heart join the mouth
to perceive the shy beauty
of creation as well as the innocent
pain of the weeping.
Between fire and stone
for a moment more being bodies
kneaded with sun and endless
tenderness until we flex ourselves
lightly towards the enchantment
of the other.
The Young Hour
Two kisses, a sandwich and the races
on a bicycle to everywhere.
Thus the young hour – eager
with passion – with all the senses
bathed in sunshine.
So later in time
with all the winds and rapacious dreams
come to die in us.
By such a way now pecking
the incarnation of that time, giving form
and substance to the dusk
only to vanish unfinished
in aphasia, after having inhaled
life by subtraction without
managing to escape the fierce things,
without diminishing the injury.
