BACK TO AFRICA
Mosquito net is draping over African night
Catching the walloping stars curiously hanging on the inky sky
Unfamiliar with saying"curiosity can kill the cat" they coming
Closer to inspect, eventually caught in ambuscade
Africa have uneasy time to fall asleep
Twisting and turning in the humid, fragrant air
The crimes rampant array is happening under the darkness fabric
Someone is dying, screaming in the agonizing fear, someone is crying begging not to carry brutal acts
The blood of slaves enriched soil here
But land is cursed not giving out the abundance of the crops
The mother of the nations, cradle of the humans suffers
She suffered much before, like that is not enough
Pity,oh pity, she sighing gently in half whispers
Unable gain a strength to scream competing with the lion's roar
Who knows how long even the lions will be here given Circumstances brutal statistics Africa will hear only the silence
The burned land is burning from the indignation
The children doomed from the birth not to reach the toddler age
Wandering between the heaps of garbage, seeking food
The slavery is coming back for the lack of gaining money
The lonely trees are sweating bloody tears
Did i travel here from the sated Europe to hear the moans
Pleas for help , raising from the dusty ground thirsty for the rain
My images were false photographs from book of traveler
Who never ventured beyond the big cities noisy clamor
The pretty nature pictures from the album of rich lady
The real Africa is not like that, the real Africa is agonizing
Under the weight of poverty, indifference to nature's fading
The drop of water is a drop of gold, bread like a diamond
I came back here to understand the meaning of the human life
Not satisfied by responses of affluent Europeans
Huge gap dividing the black continent from them, the light years
I am back to Africa to find real answers for tough questions
