Two aspects of the same feeling.

They go hand in hand.

One is proportional to the other

Or else the supreme feeling would be wiped off the land.

 

When you love someone

You have to respect the one.

You can scream out your feelings

But love fades away without respect, love cannot be won.

 

Two elements on a weighing machine.

Keeping the equilibrium stable.

Love and respect on the two weighing pans.

Keeping the world fit and able.

 

The Chocolate Sauce On The Vanilla Ice Cream

 

The chocolate sauce on the vanilla ice cream.

It swirls and twirls on the surface.

The brown streaks making lovely designs on the white,

The two then blend and become one.

 

You then scoop a spoonful of ice cream.

Yumm…how it melts in the mouth.

A burst of taste in your palate.

You dip your spoon again and again.

 

The brown chocolate sauce peeps out now and then.

You stir your spoon to get a glimpse of the chocolate.

Love like the chocolate sauce

Adds a burst of taste in your vanilla life.

 

It swirls and twirls in your heart.

Streaks of love now and then

Show up and fill your heart with joy.

The blend of chocolate sauce on vanilla makes life flavourful.

 

My Slim Blue Diary

 

A slim blue diary on my study table

With the year 2024 glistening in gold.

My blue Cross pen lying lazily beside it.

Their friendship is becoming deeper by the day.

It scribbles on, on the white pages of the diary.

Each day noting down what to do.

Numbering the errands carefully.

At night again it ticks off whatever is done.

My blue slim diary documents all

Reminding me of various work.

Ticking off the done chores

Crossing off the ones not done.

But my blue slim diary doesn’t remind me

Doesn’t remind me of things of the past.

Doesn’t remind me of my childhood.

Doesn’t remind me cherished memories.
