PARAMITA MUKHERJEE MULLICK

PARAMITA MUKHERJEE MULLICK

Love Creeped In

Love creeped in when, I did not know.

There was no sound, no pomp or show.

There was silence in my heart it seems.

Love creeped in and spread its light beams.

I the simple woman with a simple life.

A dedicated mother and a devoted wife.

Love spread and radiated in my heart.

Made me fulfilled with its happiness cart.

Its footsteps I could not make out.

It was soft and mild, and not loud.

You came into my life oh Almighty!

To complete my life and help me serve society.

From Darkness To Light

-        Dr. Paramita Mukherjee Mullick

From darkness to light

I walk on and on.

The road clears in front of me.

I open my eyes and you I see.

From ignorance to knowledge

I walk on and on.

The knots open, the path clears.

YOU make me walk with my dears.

From hatred to forgiveness

I walk on and on.

Sadness gives way to happiness in my journey.

I look inside and see YOU in me.

I Asked And You Gave Me

I asked and YOU gave me.

Filled my empty hands.

Filled my empty heart.

Filled my urn up to the brim.

So no longer will I complain.

Complain about the hurt.

Complain about the jealousies.

Complain about the ingratitude.

Since YOU are there always beside me.

Making me happy.

Making me fulfilled.

Making me complete.
