Half Moon And Half Word
When dreams are
beautifully woven,
braids of
rainbows full of hope,
even the sun
hides behind them,
and silently
lights up a life.
People, like
clouds, keep running,
sometimes white,
sometimes black;
strangely, they
even pierce the sky,
and slide like
rain into streams.
At times, they
also turn into the moon,
half devoured by
silence,
few, pale,
withdrawn,
and they guard
their words in hiding.
And you walk
through your own dreams,
there you find
joy like a goddess;
this life seems
so futile
when you seek
weight from others.
One dream, a
half-moon,
one fragile
word, a half,
runs deep within
the soul,
and awakens on
ivory shores.
Hungry Among People…
Embraced by
light, dreams screamed at the stars, starving
seeking a little
sparkle, trapped in false horizons.
Alone, words
walked barefoot
in the deserts
of a wounded soul;
thirst, an
unquenched hunger for freedom among the maddened people.
Dreams stammered
deadly truths, for a bit of hope,
feeding the
insatiable with the light of the soul every morning.
Under the sounds
of sirens, they called for peace, trapped among stars,
in a world
hidden behind the sun, in a forgotten world…
Mute words
stayed hung; at night they turned into neon lights,
awakening those,
the dead of the day, who with dreams slept until late at night.
Who knows, why
did they trade day for night?
Maybe there they
quenched the hunger for an endless dream.
Try, My Daughter
Try, my
daughter, to fill the cells of your heart with beats of happiness,
and your eyes
with butterflies of hope, with pride of a mother.
To weave dreams
of braids in the cradle where freedom rocks.
Try, daughter,
to strengthen strong muscles in this life,
to carry the
entire sky upon them, with clouds, downpours, and storms,
and never to
fall into the lake of loneliness.
Try, daughter,
to walk alongside the sun,
to feel the
burning heat of love,
but never to
burn beside it.
Try to fill the
moon with the light of your eyes,
for there,
daughter, are my eyes too.
There shines a
piece of my soul that raised you with galloping steps,
so that today
you illuminate and give wings to your mother’s heart.
Try, daughter,
never forget that fragile smile,
which, when
spoken from your lips, brings me to life.
You are the one
who renews it for me every moment.
Try, daughter,
to shape life, even when it gets scratched
or breaks like
crystal,
with the claws
of love and resurrect it on the shore of peace.
Try, my
daughter, to love the unseen as well,
seeking distant
angels of kindness,
and I will be a
warm hand among them,
a warm shawl of
love.
