Stop Playing With My Emotions
My life is a
roller-coaster!
Stop playing
with my emotions.
I pull the
petals of a daisy flower,
They fall to the
ground
With the words
carried on the wings of the wind:
He loves me,
He loves me not,
He loves
me,
He loves me not.
One day, he is
so sweet and loving,
I feel on top of
the world.
One day, he is
nasty and ugly,
I feel I am
tumbling down.
He is always in
control,
Holding my life,
like the string of a thread.
One day, he
swings it to the right,
One day, to the
left,
One day, he
twirls it around his little finger,
Like it’s
nothing.
Stop playing
with my emotions!
Don’t make my
life a roller-coaster!
Body Builders
Some people can
lift us up,
Others can tear
us down.
Be a person that
builds up,
That sees the
best in everyone.
Plant seeds that
grow
Into healing
plants,
And transform
the world
One person at a
time.
Words build,
Words tear,
Be builders of
souls,
Plant a seed of
healing,
A kind word of
acceptance,
No matter who
they are,
What they have
done.
Offer a smile,
A kind word,
A shoulder to
lean on,
A strong hand to
squeeze a feeble one.
And joining
hands with others,
We can build the
world,
Change it
Into a peaceful
and loving place,
With the walls
of division healed.
