To Soar In The Air
Up... High Up
Walking so
slowly on the wet sand,
her feet left
their footprints,
from which salt
water often flowed back.
She awaited the
trembling arrival of the wave,
on which
graceful foam,
blooming,
adorned,
which seemed to
dissolve at the touch.
She raised her
gaze higher than the sky,
lost in her
silent prayer,
ready to ask
forgiveness of her God.
If the desire
for the creation before her
ravished her
mind,
and the scent,
so acrid, her senses.
If love
overflowed from her heart,
for that sea she
loved so immensely,
that it was
missing her, like her breath,
and whose breath
she felt.
If she still
felt the regret
of having
everything she longed for, so much,
unlike a pair of
diaphanous wings.
And if the wind
carried that song,
as it brushed
her impalpable body,
arousing intense
shivers in her...
Her Heavenly
Father had given
unrestrained
enchantment to that sea.
He couldn't
blame her if she was slow to return.
To soar in the
air, up... High up.
The Moon Shines
The Stars Sing
She had a
languid look,
while she turned
it to the black sky.
Nothing awaited,
in her dance,
she knew she was
a wave of the sea.
Of white foam,
the long robe,
sweet dragonfly,
daughter of the sea.
The night grows,
the wind blows,
now the silence
has fallen asleep.
The moon shines,
the stars sing,
on the almost
unbelievable horizon
She rises, in
the enchantment of making an arabesque.
The voices are
approaching, of sirens.
The orchestra is
heard superb, of Angels.
Live applause,
from the Celestial Sphere.
