Beyond The Red

 

Don't let the face disappear,

don't let the red

blind your transparency.

A thousand hands are looking for you...

What are yours looking for?

The eyes are all alike

when they are afraid, devoured by uncertainty

while a smile fades.

By whose hand?

The truth resides only within,

it is rooted in our depths

even if today, it seems far away.

The light of that kiss will never go out,

like our identity

like the fire of knowledge

in the depths of the cave, it will always illuminate

our route, despite the horror.

You will look beyond and trust your eyes.

Do you feel it?

How much heat can a kiss contain.

 

OLTRE IL ROSSO

 

Non permettere al volto di scomparire,

non permettere al rosso

di accecare la tua trasparenza.

Mille mani cercano te...

Cosa cercano le tue?

Gli occhi sono tutti uguali

quando hanno paura, divorati dall’incertezza

mentre un sorriso svanisce.

Per mano di chi?

La verità risiede solo dentro,

è radicata nel nostro profondo

anche se oggi sembra lontana.

Non si spegnerà mai la luce di quel bacio,

come la nostra identità

come il fuoco della conoscenza

in fondo all'antro sempre illuminerà

la nostra rotta, nonostante l’orrore.

Guarderai oltre e ti affiderai ai tuoi occhi.

Lo senti?

Quanto calore può contenere, un bacio. 

 

The Garden Of The Sacred Willow

 

You arrived on tiptoe

light, like a sea wave,

enveloping like the great mountain.

 

Wisdom reflected from a past,

that would have broken even an oak.

 

Like the wind you drew from the willow that touches it

swaying to the trials of life with a smile of peace,

that of the wise who have seen every storm,

firm to its nature.

 

So, you have passed through every season unscathed

giving protection and peace to peoples.

 

One day your voice

reached the tired warrior

as she re-emerged from the nameless hells,

those she had not chosen…

 

The threadbare garments hid her spiritual nature,

but your eyes possessed the memory of the world.

 

You held out your hand to her, so that she could rise again

and it was an instant of light that contained the eternal,

up to the garden

of the sacred willow.

IL GIARDINO DEL SACRO SALICE

 

Arrivasti in punta di piedi

leggero, come un’onda marina,

avvolgente come la grande montagna.

 

Saggezza riflessa d’un passato,

che avrebbe spezzato anche una quercia.

 

Come il vento hai attinto al salice che lo sfiora

oscillando alle prove della vita con sorriso di pace,

quello dei saggi, che hanno visto ogni tempesta,

saldo alla sua natura.

 

Così, hai attraversato indenne ogni stagione

donando protezione e quiete agli uomini.

 

Un giorno la tua voce

giunse alla guerriera stanca

mentre riemergeva dagli inferni senza nome,

quelli che non aveva scelto…

 

Le sfatte vesti nascondevano la sua spirituale natura,

ma i tuoi occhi possedevano la memoria del mondo.

 

Le tendesti la mano, affinché potesse risollevarsi

e fu un istante di luce che contenne l’eterno,

fino al giardino

del sacro salice.

CINZIA ROTA

 

CINZIA ROTA was born in Milan (Italy). She is poet, writer, human rights promoter, Personal awareness facilitator. She began her artistic career at a young age with the production of poems and short stories as well as with graphic studies of image processing. She collaborates with radio stations and theatre workshops as a writer, animator, actress and voice actor, specializing in poetry recitations, video-making and book trailers. She is actively engaged in the defense of human rights and the promotion of Peace.  She has collaborated with Italian anti-violence centers that welcome women victims of violence. She is Olistic Operator, with a focus on bioenergetics and applied psychodynamics. Cinzia Rota is Master Reiki too. Her poetry is also permeated with important messages aimed at the defense of human rights and support for peace.
