ZUNNY BRACHO

The Light of Misfortune

After the soul's brokenness,

the meaning of life will come,

Now vision is clearer,

and with the storm, calm does not leave you adrift.

From the darkness of experiences,

clarity fills the mind.

A ray of hope is enough

to relieve the sorrows that burden the heart.

The demons of conscience will leave swiftly and quickly.

Because the light of discernment,

Its darkness torments.

You will end your hell,

the senses will open fire,

and love on high will connect you with the eternal.

Mortal man, do not faint,

in the face of the intuition of evil,

The light leads you home,

without carnal temptation.

Mortal woman, do not give up,

in the face of merciless adversity.

The light will rest on your spirit,

And shine eternally.

Living, everything is lacking,

Dying, everything is superfluous!

Nothing is taken with it,

Life takes everything.

The great becomes small,

Ignorance loses the fool.

It is the master of its condemnation.

Peoples melt in fire,

Like a sea in a flood.

The laments of humanity shake,

Crying out for light in its misfortune.

Desert Sand

I find myself between one place

and another,

between the dry dust and

the sun that warms my feet.

My skin covers me, as do my clothes,

But uncertainty invades again.

I haven't felt thirsty;

my tears have hydrated me for not knowing,

for not understanding.

And where will my destiny be?

And which path should I choose?

I have walked aimlessly, and yet, my intuition

and the great humanity within me have guided me.

I don't always take a firm step;

weariness has overcome me.

The promise of a different,

not so empty world returns to me.

I carry life on my back,

like a divine manifestation.

In the purity and madness of my experiences,

I carry the experience

that makes me see greatness from below.

I stay with the heights,

even though the sun Warm,

even if the seas flood me,

even if the forests lose me,

just like my sorrows.

I want to live with certainty,

because falsehood is a dead idol.

I want to find the secret of peace,

of love, of loyalty, in the middle of this desert.
