Nature's Victory
Golden rays of
an autumn dawn
Caress me as I
look
Upon the regal
golden carpet
Under my
unworthy feet
Natures green is
changing
Into a sea of
wondrous colours
Naked branches
stare down
At their
gleaming leaves
Conversing in
hushed tones
The sweet song
of a feathered friend
An overwhelming
sense of calm
Glowing cheeks
My nose is red
As the wild wind
whistles all around
At this moment
I could be the
only one on earth
But the buzz of
life is not far away
So much beauty
so much peace
I feel proud to
see
The richness of
the changing year
Another victory
for mother nature
She is supreme.

Remember Youth
Here’s to our
youth
The days we
spent in the sun
Those special
days out
With a close
loved one
Those days on
the beaches
Where our
spirits ran free
To the days in
front of the fire
Or singing
around the Christmas tree
Remember kicking
a ball
Or dressing a
doll
Just sitting
around talking
Watching the
leaves fall
Our youth is so
precious
We should
cherish it well
Because before
we know it
We're all grown
up
Life is full of
problems and mistrust
So keep youth in
your heart
And your
memories near
And you'll
always be young
No matter how
old you are.
