Come on! Tell us the truth…
What made you
curse the rocks
for your
downhill plunge to disaster,
hand over your
dreams –willingly-
to the praetors,
fight with gods
and demons
cause your
temerity didn't thrive,
make up swan
songs
before your
alleged disappearance?
Tell us the
truth
just in case you
can save
what's left of
your dignity,
or trick time
making it count
your hours all over again
And after all,
in this way,
maybe you could
leave us
nourish a damn
hope without remorse
Addiction
A long buried
picture in a
drawer
on the first
pages of “Cancer Tropic”
reminisces
virginal loves at the land of light
Soulless days
wet nights
moisten the
paper, leaving their imprint
The letters leap
out of the book
in their attempt
to avoid a certain drowning
A heavy drink in
a low glass seconds you
You confide in
it your innermost feelings
Alcohol has
become your best friend now
It doesn't ask
for apologies
or assign
responsibilities
or impose
penalties
Otherwise, you
would talk to the picture
But this one stinks, of remorse
and guilts
