Rare Alchemy
My soul is dyed
with the hues of
the night
like when the
sky has no stars
not even a flash
shedding some light
on the dark dome
overhead
It had the
colours
of the early
morning once
even late at
night
when in the
silence
We told each
other our secrets
and daily
adventures
Warm were the
tones
of our voices
as friends of
distant times
We would have
wagered all our possessions
sworn on our
dearest things
that nothing and
nobody
would ever have
broken our bond
confident as we
were
to be linked by
a rare alchemy
but the desire
to go
to new and
unknown roads
won over our
certainties
I don't know
what we conquered
undeniably
we lost
something
Sea
Quiet is the sea
Like a baby
In the welcoming
arms
Of a mother
Light blue and
transparent
Under a clear
sky
Cheered up by
the song of seagulls
Which seems to
recall lofty thoughts
To distant and
hidden truths
To lived places
When the pace
was quick
And the spirit
graceful
I hear his
caressing voice
While the waves
Slow chase each
other
In their steps
of dance
They tell old
stories
Of pirates
sailors and
Lovers under
starry skies
I could watch it
endlessly
And never grow
tired
